Cath Kidston is a joyful British brand with prints that spark memories and products made for real life. Gifts that pass the joy on. We were born in a small shop in Notting Hill in 1993 and today we're a global life and style brand in over 40 countries worldwide. We exist to inspire the everyday optimist.
Cath Kidston prints are entwined with British culture. It's from our studio in the heart of London that we take classic items and reimagine them with a smile. It's British design with a playful twist – a double oven glove in a button spot print, a duster coat dressed in gingham. Our prints themselves celebrate icons of our culture, like London red buses, English garden roses (which you'll find painted on mugs of tea all over). Even our optimism is distinctly British – more dancing in the rain than assuming it won't rain at all. We use our heritage to reflect, but also to look forward into a bright future.

We are a British Heritage Brand
Cath Kidston prints are entwined with British culture. It's from our studio in the heart of London that we take classic items and reimagine them with a smile. It's British design with a playful twist – an ironing board cover in a pop of cheerful print, a timeless tea-dress with a twist of the unexpected. Practical products made to love and made to last.
Our hand-drawn prints spark memories
Ever heard an old song and been transported back to a carefree time? Tasted something and instantly remembered a moment from your youth? You feel lighter, happier, safer – and carry it with you. Research shows nostalgia can even make people feel warmer on a cold day. Our hand-drawn prints are designed to help our customers stop and smell the roses. To light up that playful side they didn't know was missing. Our team of in-house artists spend months dreaming, drawing and designing new stories which spark memories – of happy times, nature-filled afternoons, and the quirks that make us distinctly British. We believe those happy memories propel us forward to shine. They inspire our creativity as a team and our customers to be everyday optimists.
Our Signature Prints
We make products for real life
Our sunny staples are made for real life – the running around latte-in-hand kind of life. Our products are portable sunshine and a reminder to find the unexpected joy in the everyday. With Cath Kidston, school runs with your favourite tote turn into an adventure with the kids. Supermarket trips with your shopper sparkle with a kind of magic. A rosy mug transforms tea time into a rosy afternoon. What we create is made to last, with prints that make a lasting impression.
Our gifts are a way to pass the joy on
If our products are a way to find unexpected joy in the everyday, giving a gift from Cath Kidston is how you pass that joy on. To brighten up someone's day and inspire the next everyday optimist. Throughout our history, we've always been a gifting destination with presents big and small. Glorious hampers for Christmas morning, cosy pyjamas for birthdays in bed. Have-forever mugs and pick-me-up keychains. Socks to stuff in stockings. For special occasions, any occasion and just because.
