Flagship Assistant Manager
Reports to: Customer Experience Manager
To Brighten up the Day of our people and our customers by taking responsibility for the visual merchandising and customer experience management of a specific Department and ensuring the sales and customer experience builds brand loyalty and maximizes profitability.
Builds and develops a motivated team and supports to a culture of continuous learning.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
Continually strives to achieve the Flagship Department based targets on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
Provides KPI and financial reports and analyses daily, weekly and monthly with the Department.
Creates a warm, friendly, cheerful and fun Cath Kidston home away from home environment in store and with all interactions with customers
Works closely with the Visual Merchandising Manager, the Customer Experience Manager and the Operations Manager to deal with all customer requests, orders and complaints swiftly and efficiently to maximize the customer experience
Strives to ensure that the Cath Kidston way to SELL (The Brighter Retail Programme) is continually progressed and monitored through the team within the store to enhance the customer experience
Consistently promotes all aspects of the Cath Kidston brand, image and business at all times with enthusiasm and positivity by leading by example with the team and with our customers
Leadership and Talent Management
Trains and develops the Department team to enrich the success of the store and to maintain a positive, motivated team environment
Delegates daily, weekly and monthly tasks to the team and continually monitors results
Sets the team SMART objectives and continually monitors achievements, providing feedback to drive performance on an on- going basis
Ensures the team receive on going feedback on their performance and conducts twice yearly appraisals
Develops a talent map and succession plan for the Department to ensure internal development of team members
Retail Operational Excellence
Works alongside the Visual Merchandising Manager and the Customer Experience Manager to ensure the delivery of excellent product presentation and to ensure the highest standards of visual merchandising at all times within the Department
Ensures the delivery of high standards of visual merchandising at all times in the Department which are commercially viable and continually reviewed for their visual/commercial impact.
Marketing & Event Management
Ensures all Flagship Marketing Events and Promotions for the Department are thoroughly planned and executed effectively and to the highest standards
Monitors continually the correct usage of Data Capture facilities with the team.
Security, Health & Safety
Works with the Operations Manager to action Department Health & Safety systems & processes to protect the team and our customers.
