Buyer Admin Assistant – Accessories Department

 

Reports to:  Assistant Buyer/ Buyer

 

Role: To provide key support to the accessories buying team, from product concept to production.

 

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

  • General admin support to the Product Development/Buying team to include filing, sample management, data entry etc

  • Working with design, technical and merchandising department to manage the critical path from initial order stage through to delivery date confirmation,

  • Ensuring all labelling requirements are briefed and approved in line with the critical path

  • Working with buying/ technical to ensure that all test reports are up to date and accurately record amendments and testing required in line with critical path.

  • SMS management and maintaining sample cupboard and ensuring all samples arrive within the required deadlines for catalogue / press and showroom.

  • Working with design department/ Buyer to create and update the Look Book.

  • Create visual boards to show the current season’s product range and update when necessary.

  • Be responsible for seasonal comp shop reports

  • Understanding suppliers’ capabilities and maintaining professional working relationship with our supplier base.

  • Setting up all new product SKUs on Futura systems.

  • Managing the Range Plan through input of all new product detail to ensure that it is an accurate working document at all times.

 

Performance Indicators:

  • Accurate and timely SKU set up for relevant department, attention to detail essential.

  • Constant maintenance of the Look Book using Kaleda.

  • Excellent organization skills.

  • Interaction with other departments and awareness of the Brands direction out with current working department.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Good understanding of the company’s key competitors.

  • Excellent computer literacy: Excel / Outlook / Word essential.

  • The ability to work independently and from own initiative.

  • Excellent communication both internally and to suppleirs
